People sometimes see suffering as being stupid, but if you strife to reach your goal (sometimes only you know what it is), it is only the endurance of suffering that makes you achieve the goal. It was great to read about the faults you see in your own body and abilities. It just proves that you don't back down despite the known facts (obstacles). I always think about what the the sluggard says, "There's a lion in the road, a fierce lion roaming the streets!" (Proverbs 26:13). Life is full of choices....what a journey!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18315907418701459807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4832966217477763410.post-38040732246886419912014-05-07T17:26:58.874-05:002014-05-07T17:26:58.874-05:00Great writing. Is it because they are nothing like burpees on gravel, burpees after a creek swim, burpees after hours of pulling, pushing and running? Thank you spartan race for making me think 14.5 burpees was my 'rest' time.danni_chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13803273882068302095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4832966217477763410.post-3062386780243111922014-05-05T18:35:56.962-05:002014-05-05T18:35:56.962-05:00I love the line about mental grit to not just surv...I love the line about mental grit to not just survive, but to compete.
